I guess I'll give this a try. Please don't mind the technical difficiencies in the images.



This is from the Dragon Boat races held to promote a cure for breast cancer. All participants are women who have survived breast cancer.






Note: Wish I had thought of this one for the Prime Colours challenge. Oh well!

The first one is sharper. I can't figure out what the person in the rainslicker is doing with the rope. It must be important or he wouldn't be there.

I like the second one for what it represents, the cause for which they are racing, and the relationship with our Asian friends. Portland has dragonboats but they are a little different. They probably came from a different provence of Japan or China or wherever they come from.

As for missing the primary color challenge, I won't tell anybody if you don't. The photo works equally well for both challenges. Heck, there was a post just a couple days ago for a challenge about three months, ago!

Thanks Cal, you are kind.

The first shows the ship worker ready to weigh anchor. As for the second, I realisethat it's not sharp and has no technical value whatsoever - I admit it.
