This summer, for our 39th wedding anniversarywe went to the Orange County CA County Fair. I started with the idea of taking pictures of people and their hats of the fair. Soon I started to hear music to my photo's and I soon was taking pictures of characters at the fair.

When I got home I put this Photo Essay together with some of my favorite music. In order to play this you need the newest Quicktime 7.1, I think. Yes, there are some bad pictures in there but ya know, it's ok. I just bought my cheapy zoom lens and I had a ball! This is just one of my favorite pictures but to see more:

Go here to see the movie. By the way, it could take as much as 2 or 3 minutes to load it so but I think you will enjoy it:

All I got when I clicked the link was the music and a error message saying I needed to download a new module for Quicktime and then it said it couldn't find it on the quicktime server. I hate Quicktime but I have to have it since several games I have require it.

Cute picture of the little stuffed animals...or are those the hats you were talking about?

Sorry about that, Cal! Here's a link to download a free version of Quicktime 7.0 for Windows:

Well, I picked this picture out because it was cute. There are a lot of hat pictures in the movie. I think the new Quicktime is pretty cool. It lets you compress movies better. I must say though that I have a Macintosh and Broadband (Cable) so it does download pretty fast for me once I installed the new Quicktime.

I know how it feels to hate something, I use to hate my hairbrush!! he he

Here's a picture of the one of the hat people. . . .

Heheh...that IS a cute hat! It's an amazing idea you have there to pick certain subjects at an event like that. Good for you!

Thanks, this lady fascinated me. I love characters. Maybe cause I am one of them!

We spent the entire day there into the night and the movie turned our to be a photo essay of A Day at the Fair. But by focusing on people with hats it kept me on a mission. I think sometimes you start out with one idea and then it turns into another. I plan on doing more Photo Essays with music in the future. I just did another one of my husbands Walking Sticks for our new ebay store. He makes some funny ones!
