I've seen some pumpkins at the Oregon State Fair that looked bigger than that one but I don't think they weighed that much. After the fair, what do you do with the pumpkin. It would make a lot of pies and pumpkin bread, if it is any good for eating!

Who's the pretty lady?

Considering the fact that we got almost no rain this summerthe folks who grew those things must have beenvery busy watering to get them that size. I don't know what they do with them after the fair but I'll betthe pumpkinsare worthless for eating. They would make dandy jack-o-lanterns if you could figure a way to carve anything that heavy.

The lady is my wife Judy.

I looked at your Hawaii pictures. VERY NICE! We went to many of the same places on our cruise in 2003. It was greatto see your picture of Waimea Canyon. When I was there the fog was so thick you couldn't see more that 20 feet down into the canyon! What did you think of your driveon the road to Hana? Very beautiful scenery but I think one drive up and down that road is all I ever want to do.

Very nice candid. I just saw a TV feature on thr growing of monter pumkins for competition and they neeed a fork truck to move those fellas. They claimed that they were edible.

Aloha and thanks for sharing.
