Very nice shot. The material appears to be metal. The visible curve may be lens distortion but I don't think so. I am thinking the bed of a large flatbed trailer with no load on it. I have observed that the large flatbed semi trailers are always prestressed with an upward bow in the middle with no load.

Sorry, but a good guess in a way. It is real wood.

Other guesses?

Beautiful wood..........it looks like the roof of a very nice boat, from the inside

Nice shot.

Not a boat. Not a porch swing.

The angle seems to imply that it is suspended from the ceiling like a pot hanging device.

Another suspicion is that it is a room divider.

Cheers, nice puzzle.

Hmm..Looks like it could be the bottom of a bed, possibly a bunkbed..

Very nice looking wood finish..

OK, folks. Here's a hint. It IS transportation-related. It is old (think the 40's). And, it is land-based. Does that help?

Perhaps it is the uncovered wing of an old airplane. If so, it's a beautiful restoration job.
