Who can say no to the Lullaby of Birdland performance.

Great rendition of a jazz performance. The focus and composition have a lot to do with the atttractiveness of this shot.

I like this shot for many reasons but the MAIN reason is because of the expression of the sax player. You know it's a good performance when the other musicians are impressed and he definately looks impressed.

Great capture of a great performer!

I agree with Rose and Selvin. This is a great shot. It is one of those "a picture is worth a thousand words" type of shots.

I love a good jazz band. I like modern, smooth jazz, more than traditional but I like the latter too. I hear that the music is returning to New Orleans. Good news!.

Selvin, Rose, Cal ! Thanks a lot for replies.
I really enjoyed that perfomahce. I used to play jazz myself years ago back in Ukraine (former Soviet Union) where I grew up and graduated 4-yr Musical college , specializing in jazz, jazz arrangement, etc. I played drums, percussion, vibe, xylophone, and everything else you can bang on:G I do completely different things for living now, but this "jazz spirit" will never go away.

Rose! This was exactly the same reason why I picked this image out of many others - the expression of the alto- sax guy!

Birdland is the place where you don't just listen to the Good Jazz, you feel it.

Yes, Cal, this is a really good news. New Orleans's jazz was one of the things I was raised on, despite it was the opposite side of the globe in all meanings.

Thanks again, I'm glad you liked my picture

Best regards

Alex
