Rose, you heard Cal. No more digressing !!! .

Scotious : I do like the first pic and as I said, the treatment you gave it.

But the second one looks like a 'bushtucker trial'

Sorry Scotious, sometimes I forget I am conversing with folk from all over the world. (Aint the internet great !!).

Currently on our (UK) TV screens, we have a program called 'I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here'.

It consists of 10 'C' list celebrities ensconced in the Australian jungle for two weeks, living round a campfire and performing various tasks, inwhich the public vote for a 'celeb' to perform. One of which is called the bushtucker trial. For each 'star' they achieve, they get the equivalent of one meal for the rest of the group. (Otherwise it's a diet of rice and I think beans).

To collect a star, and one meal, they must eat something that can be found in the jungle.

This is presented to them on a plate and consists of things such as Witchety grubs, cockroaches, red ants, vomit fruit (so called by the Aborigines because it tastes and smells like sick !!), grasshoppers, mealworms etc. And they are all alive :O.

The last 'meal' the contestants had to eat the other evening was a Kangaroos testicle (without the fir) and a Kangaroos 'old chap'. All that in one sitting between two of them.

The daughter of our former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, who's name is Carol, was a game girl and ate everything put in front of her. Including the firless whatsit !!

Now all of that was just to explain I thought your fish shot was something like it.

Now I've reminded myself of what they ate, I have to change my mind and say your pic is nothing like it and in fact looks very tasty :G

Scotious posts a beautifully toned picture of a classic dock scene and the following thread dissolves into this?!?! :blah: Not where I saw the conversation going.:?
Nice shot of the tools of the trade.

P.S. Steve, I don't want to see any pics of those tools of the trade.:-)

Fear not GoCubs !! No pics of those 'tools' :O.

And I humbly apologise for lowering the tone.................so long as Scotious does too. Well, he did ask me to explain :-).

I can't have that ! You can't possibly take all the responsibility.

But if you insist.........:-)

Well with your first image being a very good photo, there wasn't much to point out.

This whole shambles was due to it's validity for the challenge being questioned .

And the 'net......ain't it just !!

People, I think it is time to bring this discussion to an end. Unless there is anything more to be said about the original photo, let's move on.
