Chimney on an old house that the town took by imminent domain. It is being restored to it's original condition.

I think I've seen this photo here on the forums before but I don't remember when or in which forum.

I like the angle and the way the chimney is framed by the two parts of the roof.

I just took it yesterday, must be lots of these chimineys in these old houses....LOL.

I wish the chinineys themselves were sharper. I'm abit disappointed in it for that reason. I did try to sharpen it, but i am so new to the whole post processing idea, that I just don't know the software welll enough to do the picture justice.

I'm going to guess but I think that the camera probably focussed on the roof and the structure supporting the chimneys and when combined with the telephoto job resulted in a less than perfect focus.

Given all these challenges you did a creditable job. Short of using a tripod and if your camera allows it a manual focus to center on the chimeys.
