It's hard to believe that it's nearly been 3 years already since I got married. This is my ring. I think I'm going to make this into an anniversary card, though I'll have to do something with the text, because the look is not quite right for me.

Sorry there are no '3's immediately obvious in this picture but I hope it gets accepted for the challenge, if only for the wistfulness of the idea...

Well, it's my challeng and I say OK. Nice shot and it will make a very nice card. Do you have a color version?

Cal

Touching memento. The ring reflection is a nice touch.

Couple of suggestions. Rather than the number three use the word "Three".

There is a font named 'Nuptial" which is commonly used for as you can guess wedding announcements etc.. and it has the right flourishes in the right places. I would suggest not using all Caps and consider using upper and lower case. This will ensure the correct spacing of the letters in the words. Use of caps only throws off the letter spacing unecessarily which then requires manual "kerning" i.e. spacing between the letters.

Hope this wasn't too wordy.

Aloha

Thanks for your responses, everyone.

Cal - yes I do have it in colour but it was taken inside under normal lighting so the colour's off. I have been considering changing the background colour to a rose or something but don't want to make it too cheesy!

Ferny / Selvin - I appreciate your suggestions and I'll look into it. I agree, caps don't work and the current font's not the best.

Cheers all...

Frenchy
