The last news report I heard said the Napa valley was flooded. I assume this is not a recent shot.

Like others have said, the composition and colors are right on target. I'm quite impressed by the ability of your camera to capture the purple so well.

I have difficulty in rendering some shades of purple with Minolta cameras.

Thanks everyone.

I shot this last fall before all the rain but yes the Valley has been flooded by heavy recent rains. They got all the grapes harvested before the rains set in.

I thought the purples were great and have heard that digital cameras cannot see purple but mind did ok with these. Of course someone will probably point out they are some hue of blue but they look purple to me. *smile*

I use a Nikon CP8800. It works well for subjects that don't move much. Moving subjects prove to be a challenge for it.
