Mountain apples are found usually in wet areas. These fruit were brought to Hawaii by the early Polynesian explorers. The fruit are slightly aromatic and very sweet and refreshing.

Picture taken with Minolta A200 using flourescent lighting and in camera white balance adjusted. Background is acounter protection sheet made byCorning.

Looks yummy but what is that thing in the middle. I won't say what think it looks like but a certain kind of African beetle comes to mind!

Very nice shot.
