Nicely done. Snow scenes are difficult to shoot. If you use auto exposure, the meter will usually make the image too dark. I think the exposure in your photo is just about right. Any lighter would blow out the snow.

Big trees, small trees, definitely fits the challenge.

Thanks very much, calr. During this trip I probably shot over 150 pictures of mountains and lakes, only to come up with less than 40 good ones. This was one of them and it was taken with my cheap oldDX6440 (but with manual controls).
