I post this tongue-in-cheek. Yes Ma'am, Spring has Srung in Georgia! 1st and foremost, the trucks are washed! Then the old branches have been pruned. They sit on the ground undisturbed to dry before burning. HA that's what I was told! The willow is budding in that beautiful bright spring green, the maple tree buds are just waking up in dark pink, the Cherry tree blooms were prefect last week, the "yellow bush" is past it's prime already, the white iris are out, the grass and green clover are soft and growing, and the sky is blue, and the catbird is calling!

I know this picture ain't great - I just got my new Canon S2 today! yippee.

This is a tough call that I'll leave to Mommy, while there may be remnants that suggest spring the color etc. and new life Mommy asked for aren't obvious to me.

Well thanks for that tiger and Selvin but I DO accept it for spring. This is a spring-time ritual so it counts. I just spent 4 hours raking the leaves out of the flower beds and laying out the dead branches to throw in the fire.

And of course there are the cherry blossoms.

This definately works for me!! Remember, for those that have 1 1/2 seasons, then they may post their interpretation of spring or their springtime rituals.

Thanks for posting!!

Thanks! This scene changes everyday. The cherry blossoms are starting to turn in to Spring Green leaves just with one day of sun.

Well, that is the only thing I don't like about Spring...having to clean up after winter and trim branches and such. But ya know, it looks soooo nice when we're finished! :-)
