The rain has finally stopped and I took the opportunity to explore my own backyard for signs of spring!

Very nice, and very sharp. What kind of camera? I'm just learing, so I'm always curious about what kind of camera people use for their good shots.

Thank you all for the comments. I used my Sony H1 in macro modewith an UV filter. To be honest Cal, I don't know the name of the flowers. every year I go to the store and buy something different for our English garden so we have a whole bunch of stuff I don't know the name of. But they sure are pretty!

Lovely shots! I like the first one the best, and yes, they are definately peonies....also known as ant traps. They are magnificent when in full bloom so don't forget to capture them in a few weeks.
