I always know that Spring has arrived when I see these little guys starting to appear on th willow. In less than 2 weeks, these will be 6 inch leaves and you won't be able to see through the tree.

Sam,

Nice picture but the low lighting makes it difficult to discern the details on the willow branches.

If possible you might want to try shooting from above rather than up at the sky. It makes life more difficult when you shoot with the sky as a background.

Yes, Selvin has a great point about shooting downward. Whenever possible it does make a big difference.

This is still a great entry to the challenge and with a little tweaking in photoshop, just little, you definately have a real keeper there.
