Today I felt that Spring has finally arrived here in the Uk.

Lovely posting for this challenge! Nothing says spring like pussy-willows against a clear blue sky.

Nicely framed too!!

Thank you very much for your nice comments. Yesterday, I took my five year old daughter into town for a treat and ended up taking over 150 shots of various things. On the way back we walked home along the river and I saw these. They always remind me that Spring is now here at long last. When I went to take some shots I discovered that I only had one shot left. Rather than delete some I just took this one. I'm pleased it came out so nice and may try some again today.

Thank you for looking.

Regards,

Syd

P.S. ~~Stichbabe~~ I love your new avatar pic, one of the best eye shots I've seen.

Hi Syd,

Glad you like the new avatar! :G

I love your story about how you came up with this wonderful image...it sounds like you and your daughter had a great trip to town! What a bonus for your last shot!

Great shot! As selvin said, difficult angle to obtain the correct exposure due to the bright sky taking most of the background.

Well, the only thing I have to say about this photo is......STUNNING!

Shooting all those pictures paid off if you got one good one from the bunch. Kudos!
