I'd like to share with you this picture of a seagull (i think) enjoying the Fontana di Trevi at Rome... Hope you like it.

BTW: i don't like the rock at the lower right of the picture but i did not want to crop it... it would lose a lot of nice water.

Very nice, JaviZ. I'd like to see a bit more from the bottom part of the fountain, though! Hope you cropped it so you can post the original (un-cropped version)!

Thanks Tullio... and nope, i did not cropped anything from the bottom... The good thing is that i have much more from this famous fountain. I chose this one 'cos you can guess the angle from the previous picture since the bird is still there.

Next pic is just resided, not even cropped... EXIF data should be there. Notice that warm light. The sun was starting to fall, and yep... very early, about 4:30pm, feb 2006.

BTW: I think this picture is much better that the previous one... but the 1st version had that bird as the main actor. Well, well... i admit it, perhaps this one is better. Feel free to comment and choose your favourite!

Now, that's one pretty fountain (like so many in Europe). I definitely like the full version much better. I think you were too focus on showing the water (or perhaps the bird). Great job!

I like both shots but for different reasons. I like the first for the seagull. It really adds something to the scene.

I like the second because it shows the entire fountain. The depth of field is a bit shallow but otherwise, a great photo.

JaviZ,

I personally prefer the second shot much better in partbecause I think it gves a complete picture. In the first I saw the water and kept wondering where does it end. It's too much like an unfinished symphony.

The full fountain shot is well done and to me brings back a reminder of the song, Three Coins in the Fountain"

Aloha

I'd also go for the second shot, Javiz.
It seems you managed to convey the movement of water with the least possible exposure value(for longer exposure time) for a decent handheld shot. Ah, so sorry for the 'scary subject' losing the first place in importance :-)
Btw, I hope you did a generous throw into the fountain enough to guarantee your wish!!

Thanks for the comments guys. And yep, i made i wish: to return to Rome... That's the usual wish when you throw coins into this particular fountain. Well, the real story says you have to drink some of the water... but well, i prefered to throw some coins and nothing more!
SmallNote: the fountain flor has a lot of coins... and you know what? There was a guy taking some while others were "adding"!!!!

hehehehe. yep badahir, there is nothing "scary" here... will try to get back to that kind of subjects soon!
