It's hard to argue about the cuteness of a mother duck and her ducklings. Yes the little ripples of water created by the young ducklings adds a nice touch.

The bushes detracts a tad because of their placement obscuring the scene a smidge (all scientific terms).

I agree this is a cute picture and I love to see black swans, however, I don't think this picture meets the challenge. The focus and subject of this photo is the mama swan and her cygnets. It does not highlight the myriad forms of water. Water is not the subject.

Having said that, I like the photo.
