Wow, you certainly stole the day, StitchBabe. This is lovely. The water looks crystal clear (great effect you got there playing with the aperture) and I love the greenish tone at the very bottom. The red rocks creates a nice contrast along with the vegetation. This place is a photographer's paradise. I hope I'll visit it one day!

While this shot has many admirers, e.g. see Tullio I am more impressed by your dawson's creek shot. You'll note by my comments there that I'm not a fan of the cottony effect

As Tullio points out the composition is wonderful and the contrast of the colors is well done.

Well, Selvin, I have to side with the opposition. I love pictures with "fuzzy" water. I shoot them myself when I have the opportunity.

I agree with the other photos. This is a great shot. The contrast, color and composition really make it shine.

Your comments are well appreciated...thank you!

Selvin, I can totally understand your feelings on the cottony effect as there are times when I would appreciate more detail in the water. This particular shot moved me for a more cottony effect. I want to thank you for voicing your true opinion :G...it's really nice to know what people like or dislike as it helps us become better photographers.
