I have yet to see one dam picture on this contest. I confess, I do as little dam work as possible (I'm a consultant). This dam picture was taken in Greenville, South Carolina.

I agree, very good shot. The colors are very attractive and I like the semi-diagonal angle to it...you've shown this dam off quite successfully!

Dam it, Walter, that's a "good dam" shot. Pardon my French. I like the colors and the angle of the shot. The color of the bridge really sets everything off.

You know, Walter, I think I have really liked everything that I have seen you post. Good work.

What a beautiful image, Walter. You could sell it to an Ad agency to print itas postcards. Wonderful colors e perfect angle of view! Very nice work!

Walter,

You're right there haven't been any "dam" shots prior to this. Maybe I should march out my Hoover Dam shots. Enuff of that.

Wonderfully done! As noted before the colors, the sharp details and the composition make this a keeper.

Aloha

I've got quite a collection of dam shots including quite a few of the The Dalles dam across the Columbia River near the city of The Dalles. I shot a lot of detail shots around that dam because I was computer modeling it for Microsoft Train Simulator.

Anyway, this isn't a dam challenge so I'll leave them in their folders on the computer.
