Here is my friend who trains border collies to herd, and the llama she uses to keep the coyotes away from the sheep.

Great shots! I love the action shown by the sheepdog and that portrait of the llama is precious. Good work.

First saw the sheep dog herding in New Zealand and was fascinated by it. Very nice capture.

Thank you for your comments. These were taken early on in my 20D career andI was (still am) figuring out how to shoot in full sun.



This is a picture of some of the other dogs waiting their turn. They are almost as fun to watch...they are alltensed up and never once take their eyes off the sheep.

What a fun bunch of images! Border collies absolutely love to work and they're eager to please. They surely amaze me with their cleverness when herding. Thanks for sharing with us!!
