Well, maybe I'm a little shy, but if you'll introduce me to Ben & Jerry I'll be your best friend.

Looks like she is really looking you over! Did she try to eat the camera?

Great shot. Closeup of animals are generally always better than a more distant shot.

Good work!

As a matter of fact, I took another couple of shots and stopped when I realized her mouth was about two inches from my hand. Shot this with the Tokina 12-24mm at 14mm.

Well done. I've got the 12-24 lens also. Can't seem to take it off my camera body since I bought it.

Thanks. Like the scatterhead I am becoming, I managed to leave my new Feisol tripod with Markins head at the farm. Took me a day to realize it. Tracked down the number and the farmer had the tripod for me. Brought over two 13 x 19 prints of the following pics, and they asked me to take a picture of their house and barn, which I will do next week. Both are verrry old, so I am looking forward to it. It is a good thing my head is attached or I would leave that someplace too. And yes, I know how lucky I am that he brought it inside.

...and the other pic I brought the farmer. These both looked fantastic at 13x19 from my Epson R1800.

How cute...I love the distortion wide angle lenses make on a close up of an animal...adds some humor! Not a good idea on people though...LOL!

I still haven't gottena 12-24mm that I've been drooling over but hopefully soon!

Glad to hear you were able to retrieve your tripod! They're much too expensive to have to buy another.
