Agree with Cal...nice framing. Looking at this, one can envision the hard work it must have taken to keep the farm going. The kids must have said "No, thanks" and headed for the big city.

Nice picture. Framing is great, as pointed out by Cal and StitchBabe, although I would prefer to see the scene with the fence but w/o the tree. Personal preference, I guess!

I used the tree and branches not just to frame the pic, but hide the harsh blown out sky. I also was new, very new to photography. Fall, 2004. That was shot with a point and shoot digital camera. I am now tring to figure out my dslr:? Thanks for the comments.

Thanks for posting a second version but I think I prefer the first one. I like the picket fence better.
