I am wondering where this is located. There are a number of buffalo farms and ranches scattered around the US but the term paddock is a British term. I am guessing that this is either in the UK or Australia.

It's too bad you couldn't get closer. It appears that the sun was low and to the left. That was causing a lot of shadows that hide the detail on the animals. Is there any possibility you could locate the owner and obtain permission to enter the property for a better shot.

I am glad to see that Buffalo are being preserved. I am not sure but I don't think they are on the endangered species list anymore. The early pioneers in the US nearly erradicated them for sport but fortunately they did not succeed.

The buffalo were running.. butdont know if it was from me or not...lol..The farm is in Alberta, Canada. The term "paddock" was used..I guess because that is what the owner called it when I talked to him before lol..He said "oh them buggers are down in the paddock"..Now, I could probably get closer to them but..I am more than a little afraid of them..They are huge and they huff and snortand glare at you like they would like to run you over! I was behind one fence, then there was a piece of land with another fence that they were in..Close enough for me!..I also dont have the best telephoto capabilites with my camera..but..I will try to get a better picture. I would like to have one, for myself.
LOL...your story had my imagination going and really made me laugh!!

Thanks...it's really an endearing story....
