Taken lookin over a wall on a road called "The Struggle" , Kirkstone Pass , Lake District UK.

Thank you for showing us your corner of the world. It really looks beautiful. What kind of cattle are those. I don't think I've ever seen long-haired cattle before.

I would really love to see the UK and northern Europe someday. Perhaps in a couple years we can save up enough to take a holiday over there.

They are Highland Cows Calr, I can reach the Lake District in under an hour in the car, I`m really lucky.I was up there only 2 weeks ago ,very early in the morning and got some good shots.If you ever get to my neck of the woods I`ll definatley give you a list of places to visit!!!!.

Kodak DX 6490 taken in the same area, different dates.I ended up stroking the calf.It was such a moment that I just placed my camera on the floor and grabbed both of his ears :G

Very nice pics, TD. I love the English country side. Everything is so green and peacefull...The Highland cows are cool!

Those animals looked like misplaced yaks in the middle of Britain.

In any event. Very nice capture. The composition in the first shot really shows off the animals and the scenery.
