Cool shot! I just wish you had more DOF. The fact that the rocks and grass at thebottom front are totally out of focus is very distracting and because of their angle, you can't cropthem outor you will loose half of the truck.

Great shot. Now, I know how those spikes are used. I assume that after he drops the bale into place, he cuts the binding twine or wire.

I don't think the depth of field is a problem. As I was looking at the photo, I didn't notice the out of focus foreground. I was concentrating on the tractor and didn't notice anything else. This one case where the main subject really grabs your attention.

hi ya cal.

I think the bales are just heavily compressed so no need for any binding. At least i've never seen anything tied around them just to finish it all off here is another shot of the tractor with a round bale which are covered in black polythene while thaey store it in the field the other bales are stored undercover in a shed.
