Great shot, Babe. Nicely composed. How long were you tied to the tracks before the Mounties rescued you?

Hey Stitchbabe, great shot. That's kind of an unusual arrangement of rails approaching the bridge. It is not unusual to have guard rails between the main rails when passing over a bridge but they are usually closer to the main rails. Their purpose is to prevent derailments on the bridge.

I love the colors and geometry in this shot. The converging lines clearly define a vanishing point. Good work!

Cal

First class example of the challenge in my opinion.

LOL...Well, normally it wouldn't take long at all but I forgot my box of TimBit donuts to drop along my path to the track....

Thanks for the kind words everyone...very much appreciated! :-)

:arrow:Cal-Unfortunately I don't know much about the railways but your comment is quite informative. I'll ask around and see if I can find out what's up with these rails.

Great shot, StitchBabe. You've got all the details from the bottom rocks to the top of the mountains. Exposure is very good as well. Excellent job capturing this scene.

Great work, that low angle works very nicely here also!! I wish we had some of those mountains and scenery down here!
