Hi Mathew. Well you've got converging lines all over the place. A couple things I think would improve this shot is to make the image a little bigger and a little lighter. We don't have a had and fast rule on size but a good rule of thumb is to keep the longest dimension under 800 pixels. I usually use 700.

The larger size would bring out the detail as would lightening it a bit.

Matt,

Nice vanishing point effects.

I diverge with Cal on this one. I can live with the small size although for a shot like this Cal's recommendation would help with the impact of the shot.

However, I think the subdued lighting actually fits in with the ambience of the shot.

As has been said, there are many vanishing points here. I also have to agree about the size of the image...I, myself, enjoy looking at a larger sized image. I have learned from experience that downsizing them really does take away a lot of detail. We love detail!! :-)Nice shot!

Yes very nice shot, the vanishing point is in a multitude of directions. I am still experimenting with the best way to downsize an image but keep most of the detail for the forum.

Great shot, Matthew. Not a whole lot left to be said that hasn't been said. I agree with Cal as far as the picture size goes. A bigger picture would make those lines stand out nicely. As for the amount of light, I actually like it dark as is. I think if you try to make it lighter you will get a lot of noise.
