The older kids had a separate Easter Egg hunt. Those youngsters were serious competitors as you can see. My reason for submitting this shot is the ribbon on the right side, which vanishes into the trees. The resampled version doesn't show it as clearly as the original, but I thought I'd submit it anyway.

It is subtle but I see it. The lines formed by the heads and feet of the children converge and point to the spot where the ribbon ends. I don't think that's why the ribbon is there but it contributes to the vanishing point by being another line.

Yes, you've got at least two there as Cal said the children were the first vanishing point that I noticed.

Nice work. Aloha

OK, I think I need a revision of what constitutes a "vanishing point". Based on the comments oflast few postings I've looked at (including this one), it seems to me that vanishing points have to do with perspective and whether thetwo (or more)lines creating the vanishing point are inparallel or not is irrelevant. It is the illusion of converginglines meeting somewhere either within the picture or out in space that counts. Is this a "closer-to-reality" explanation of a vanishing point? If so, your shot qualifies for sure, Walter!
