One funny looking helicopter! Taken while attanding my son's field trip at the Indian Reservation State Parkclose to Union City - SFBay Area.

Hey, Mister, part of your helicopter is missing! I think that is called a Sikorsky Skycrane. They use those around here for firefighting and harvesting Christmas trees.

Not sure if Selvin intended for blue sky to count or not. He left it pretty much wide open. I'll let him decide. I think he was wanting the subject to be blue or blues but I'm not sure. Anyway, great shot of the whirlybird.

Thanks for commenting, Cal. You might be right. If blue skies count, there will be a gazillion topics posted on the challenge! Oh well, Selvin is welcome to delete the entry if he feels it does not qualify!

Blue skies are acceptable. My description actually mentions it specifically.

That helicopter looks unfinished as Cal says, but it does create an imposing object against the blue sky. Thanks for including the shot info.

Thanks for your comments, Selvin. I really like the idea of including some EXIF data. Many times I find myself asking..."which camera did you use to take this picture?". Cheers.
