Tjat is an interesting abstract shot but I don't see much blue. It is mostly pinks and purple.

I have a number of shots of cd's and dvd's but I chose not to use any of them for this challenge for the same reason. The dominant color is purple.

Meryl,

There's a tiny amount of blue just to the left of the circle surrounding "shock absorbing coating" soI guess that qualifies the shot but the blue certainly doesn't spring out at you.

I'm curious why you left the cover on since this would seem to dampen the iridiscent effect.

It must be differences in monitor setup because I see mostly blues but that is not an uncommon problem. Yes, there is quite a range of colors from pinks to violets. I'll look for a better example.

This is a minidisc rather than a Mini-CD so the cover is not removable.
