Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers. I have three big ones in my backyard. As for you picture, I found the leaves a bit too blue (I hope it was not intentional) so I played with your picture a bit. Hope you don't mind, Jeff.

Nice composition. In the first photo, your white balance seems to be off a bit. The leaves look blue. The color is better in the second shot but it is a tad overexposed.

Both shots definitely meet the challenge.

The original does look a tad bluish even on the leaves. Nice close-up

I think Tullio's edit corrects that.

My bad! I didn't look close enough. I thought Jeff posted both pictures. My appologies to Tulio. Tulio's edit does improve the overall color balance and looking at it again, it is not overexposed as I originally thought.
