Obviously, color. But also music. The picture shows wave interactions, of the sort that make music possible. An examination of wave motion, constructive interfernce, and refraction.

Taken with a Pentax *istDS. f 1.8 85mm SMC Takumar

Swimming pool in darkness. Camera at low angle, onboard flash, underexposed so just the crests are light colored.

A very interesting shot. It almost looks like the photo has been manipulated in PS but from your description, I don't think so. I really like the colors and patterns.

This shot really grabbed my attention. The geometric patterns are almost hypnotic.

Great job. Aloha

Wonderful Result! I love the unique patterns in the water. That would look great enlarged to a 16 x 20 or larger on the wall. Well done.

No, there's no extensive manipulation there. Just a little lightness and contrast adjustment.

What's fun, is the pattern will change so dramatically in different places in the pool.

I was drawn in by the clour and the patterns. Sort of absolute creativity out of simplicity. Bravo, Barbarian!
