My wife and I often go for a weekend drive around the state of Texas. I can always count on her saying, "Oh, look! Can we stop?", when we approach a nursery or antique store. This was a real "wife stopper" as we were driving around the picturesque little town of Glen Rose a couple of years ago.

Nikon 5700, ISO 100, f5, 1/200th.

I love this shot, Walter. The colors and composition are great.

I see that an old VW bug has been put to good use. I have never seen one use in that way before.

As with you, my wife and I often take day trips on the weekend. A number of years ago we were over on the Pacific coast which is about 1.5 hour drive. We happened to be in the little town of Warrenton and saw this lovely creature. I think this would be a great attention getter for an antique or craft store.

I have some closeups if anyone is interested.

Now there's a novel idea for cleaning out one's garage. Never thought of that. Just glue it all on the car!

You don't wash it. If it gets dirty, you just glue more stuff on it to cover the dirt.

There must be something to this feat that attracts individuals who want to make the VW a female.

Walter, nice candid.
