I do a lot of research in my work. In my earlier days, finding information was a tedious, time-consuming task, often requiring a trip to the library, several phone calls, etc. It was like trying to negotiate through a maze.

Now, with the help of technology (especially the internet) one can find the information one needs in a fraction of the time.

I was passing through DFW airport on one of my frequent journeys, when I spotted this interesting maze-like display sponsored by Samsung. After looking through it at different angles I spotted an "information" sign on the distant wall. Just had to photograph it.

Canon 20D, 17-40 f4L @ 17mm, ISO 100, 1/80th sec.

Very allegorical indeed. Ah, sadly, barriers never end..
Thanks for sharing, Walter.

Walter, I love the colors and geometry of this shot. I would love to see what that looks like printed on 11x17 paper but I fear the forum sized image would lose too much detail when enlarged that much.

I really like to photograph architectural abstracts. Anytime I am out and around in the city, I am always looking for this kind of shot. They are easy to miss if you don't keep your eyes open.

Walter,

Love the abstractness you're trying to convey.I thiink you were successful in doing so. I'm a sucker for geometric patterns.

On my monitor the lights appear slightly lavender which I should point out is not unusual. I have an old LCD monitor which may be showing its age.

In any event, very good submission.

Aloha
