Mr. and Mrs. Clorox and their son, Comet, arrive early in order to get good seats. Dad still had his tie on from work, and picked up a Coors Light at the concession stand.

I joined them later, after the game was under way. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bleacher had already caught foul balls. Here we are cheering wildly when Alex Rodrigues gets his uniform dirty sliding into second base. (Get it?)

Walter, sometimes I think you are wierder than I am!:lol: One thing I know for sure is that you are trying to clean up the world, a little piece at a time! First, it was city hall. Now the baseball bleachers. You've got a lot of work ahead of you.
Very creative and well executed! Cal |

Jeff, I'm with you. I'm having way too much fun (and spending way too much time) with this one.

Walter,
Ihave a few questions from enquiring minds, Do you have a photographer taking your pictures? If so, what are they thinking when you set up these scenarios? Where do you purchase your cleaning suppplies? Do they give you strange looks when you're buying enough cleaning supplies for a boy scout troupe every other day? What do you do with your used props (ties, shoes, etc)? E-Bay here I come... Some lovely creative juices are flowing... Aloha |

Walter, I am really starting to wonder if you have some sponsorship deal with a cleaning company or maybe your a Virgo (people who have a cleaning fetish)??
I love the shots, I agree with calr in that you have really taken a shine to this challenge, can't wait for your next round of photos. Lan |

No photographer. I just use the 10-sec. timer on the camera and jump into the scene. We already had the large Clorox bottle but, when I thought of making it a family picture I picked up a small (momma) bottle and a Comet container at a nearby quick-stop store. The two baseballs are actually collector's items, signed by Yogi Berra of Yankee's lore. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a charity function in New Jersey. The necktie goes back in my closet, probably never again to be worn. Thanks for the encouraging words, as always. Lan I'm still waiting for calls from Coors and the company that makes Clorox and Comet. They are probably debating what kind of offer to make me. I've got my eye on a couple more lenses I'd like to buy with all those royalties. :-) Thank you, as well, for the kind words. |
