Is that what you call a photo finish? I am not sure that little cart could handle much more altitude. Great capture.

I thought the same thing Cal...I kind of cringed..must be the mom in me.I hope she won or at least had a fabulous time!!!!

This section of the track should be called "the photographers friend" as it is very easy to slightly misjudge the line and the shape of the kerb really does launch karts into the air.

I noticed on the previous laps she looked to be getting too far up the kerb so I was ready and waiting when she did go too far.

I know I have done it more than once myself. With this section of the track being redeveloped this photo opportunity will be a thing of the past and we will have to find a new favourite spot.

Unfortunately Kelsey did not win, despite being one of the favourites. A spin in the final cost her a probable win.
