In flight with the safety of her life jacket.

I know that a different angle would have been better but I wasnt willing to set out on the kayak with my 20D.

Vanessa,

Nice action shots. I agree with you getting closer or a better angle wouldn't be in my interest also.

A flying Jack Russel! Who know? I agree with Selvin.

I have never seen floatation for a dog. Does it come in different sizes or was that custom made?

Cal...life jackets for our 4 legged friends are pretty common aorund here. Many boaters take their dogs, too. We get them at the local marine stores.

We eventually had to take the ball away from this dog because he would have jumped till he was nothing but a soggy dog in a life jacket...LOL. If he jumped once, he jumped a hundred more times.

Great captures, Vanessa. The overcastmust have helpedyou obtain a good exposure (although the 20D would have handled a bright sunny day just as well).

Nice shots, i really like the timing in the second photo, it almost looks like the girl on the left is standing on the water or on something just under the surface.

Best regards,

Mag
