Well this challenge has taught me alot and been alot of fun. The shot below was shot in total darkness @ 45mm F8 w/10 sec shutter. The objects are on a piece of plexiglass on top of a black bed sheet. I waved a flashlight over the glass for the 1st 5 seconds then switched over to the bowl for the last 5 seconds of exposure. The evolt E500 apparently has issues with long shutter speeds though because i was forced to clone out alot of stray noise pixels from the background. I touched up some hot spots while i was at it. I originallytried it witha spoon in the scene but was unable to illuminate it properly with out illuminateing its surroundings, so i removed the spoon and reshot. I think i will shoot a spoon by itself and paste it it the photo sometime in the future.

Very well done. That would make a great advertising photo for the orange juice industry.

Lovely technique. I like the very soft lighting you created.
