With all the spray, it looks like it is going fast but it has slowed down to a walk at this time.

Thanks for the complements. If memory serves, I was looking 90 degrees out the side of a helicopter about 500 feet up over Biloxi Mississippi. Of course 90 degrees out the side was looking almost straight down at the time. The pilot had put the helicopter on its side so I could get good shots

The LCAC was coming to a stop on the beach. If you look you can see the forward thrusters (the things that look like big air vents) are pointed almost straight ahead.

I have other photos but the challenge was "things in motion" so I used a photo that seemed to show that the best.

I have been so busy getting ready for this years disaster stuff that I have not had much time for photos. I got to take some days off but it looks like I will have to go somewhere soon now.

This is a very cool photo.

However, this is close to a stop action photo.

There is some blurring of the spray from the air cushion.

Selvin, there are several examples of things clearly in motion but seem to be more stop action than motion blur posted in the challenge.

I love these things. I use to sail in the MS sound and would be out anchored and hear one of these hover craft coming. You can hear them from miles away. They can do like 50 miles per hour. They build or repair them in Biloxi and build them in New Orleans.

Yes, you are right it is more stop action than blur but I tend to be fairly relaxed most of the times in these challenges.

Aloha and thanks for commenting.

In my opinion, there is plenty of motion in this shot with the water spraying in all directions. If geysers and bonfires show motion, this definitely does.
