i tried setting the EC to +1 and took some ISO 3600 pictures last night. I am notice a large amount of white grains. Its like sand and its white.

Is this normal. For shots with no EC and EC -1/3 i get the normal artifacts of iso 3600 the reddish image.

Is it because of the over exposure??

Please post a pic or two of what your talking about. I'm going to guess that shooting at high iso at night is probably creating a lot of "noise" in your pictures like your discribing.
