how is the xti at iso 1600 as compared to the 30d at iso 1600. how is the 30d at iso 3200. i am trying to pick out my next camera. i need low light and action.

The essential thing to remember is to get a correct exposure when working at high ISO settings. I've used ISO 1600 on my 30D when shooting indoor sports and sometimes needed to push it to 3200 and the results are usable but I would not want to be printing much larger than 7x5 photos if possible.
