Hello 40d.

Bought an Xsi a few weeks ago and have had some buyers remorse since. I liked the Xsi but the more I used it the more I began to see that I would be missing the extra frame rate, iso expansion, and shutter speed of the 40d when ice hockey season came around.

The wife had some influence on the original purchase as she was not able to see past the price tag at the additional benefits of the 40d. Also the Xsi seemed it would be easier for her to learn.

The Canon rebate was enough that the wife made no gripe when I told her I was returning the Xsi and getting the 40d. Yes!!

I'd kept all of my original packaging in perfect condition and my local camera shop was more than willing to take the Xsi back and give me full credit.

Picked up the 40d kit with the 17-85mm lens, bag, and extra battery. Put out a few hundred extra but the wife never needs to know.

Thanks Canon!
