I don't at all care for the Presidential photo taken of Obama with the EOS 5d mk II. Obama should be smiling, not looking glum, as his smile is his best feature There's too much blank space above Obama's head. The photo looks lopsided - there's too much going on at the left. There's a grey tinge running through the photo - what kind of white balance did the photographer use? Finally, I find the colors to be incredibly dull.

Does anyone agree with me?

Does the fault lie with the photographer or the camera?

IMO the 'official' part of the picture makes it looked that way...
