Default Lens conversion on EOS 300D

Does anyone know if there is a converter available to allow use of FD lenses on the Digital Rebel? I understand that there is no chance of any automatic functions working, and fully manual is fine. The concern is for a physical connection, functionality as a manual SLR with those lenses, and metering available through the viewfinder. That is not to say that there aren't other issues that I am overlooking. I have lenses that I have been using with a Canon A1 since I bought it new in 1978. OK, I'm old. Thats OK!

It's more than that, the distance between the lens and film plane are not the same between the two mounts so you'll be limited with the focusing range:

The hard to find Canon one is actually a converter, but only works with certain lenses (ie long "L" series).
