Default Brown just delivered my vertical grip!

I love having a vertical grip on my camera ALL the time for ergos. I was looking for one for my new to me 30d and saw that Opteka makes them for Canon. It is way cheaper to buy direct from Opteka! NO AFFIL BTW!

Anywho, when I placed the order, I saw that you can get it with 2 BP511 (2200mah) for an extra ten dollars bringing the total to 59.95 for the total (without shipping). I ordered it. Wanted it here by the weekend and added second day which brought the total to $82.00.

It arrived today, ordered it day before yesterday. I was surprised to see not only how nice the grip is, but that it also included, which wasn't in the description I read, a sled for AA batts for use in a pinch, AND a little hand held remote that fires the camera when it is attached to the vertical grip!

SWEET! I am charging the batteries it came with now and tested it with my batts and it all functions perfectly, even the remote.

The only problem was I had an issue with no tracking number from Opteka. Turns out they are sold thru 47th Street photo so if one has an issue you need to call 47th since there is NO phone number for Opteka USA on the Opteka site.
