While I would have packed more than two CF cards his thought process on what to pack is interesting.

Proves it can be done. He brought back many good images.

I think you are right though, I would have brought more CF cards.

Power consumption is what would concern me the most, and only taking so few pictures a day may cause some trouble too

Absolutely awesome photos, THX for posting. I know from living in Colorado that the combination of clear air and mountains is stunning, but 14,000 feet is about as high as we can get here! Great shots!!
