Default Canon 7D mark 2

I have a problem with 7dii to my Tamron 24-70 freezes up on focus have to turn off camera to get unfrozen anyone have that problem Canon said can't help

I have not heard of anyone else having this problem. Mine works fine with the Tamron 150-600. Canon can't help because your using a third party lens. Have you tried to contact Tamron, they may be able to help.

Is that the only lens you are having issues with?

Yes - you need to contact the lens manufacturer. This is the unfortunate downside to third party lenses. The camera manufacturer will blame the lens and there is a risk the lens manufacturer will blame the camera. But you won't know until you contact Tamron.
