Ifinally went out and bought the i860. I was a little unsure about the photo quality, until I got it home. I printed a few pictures on the 4X6 Photo Pro paper that came with the printer and they came out great. I even threw in some Espon 4X6 glossy photo paper and even they came out acceptable. I only ran into one problem and that was when I tried to print out a wallet sized print on to the 4X6 paper. The colors were very muddy, especially the greens. I printed this on the Epson paper so I figure that may have something to do with it.
What paper is everyone else using out there? I see that the Canon Photo Pro is pretty steep on price, and I've heard good things about Red River.

My wife was a little hesitant about getting a new printer, but I told her that printing from the Digital Rebel "should" be easy since you can direct print onto the printer. We did a few test prints and they came out nice. Every other Photo Printer i've used required me to Photoshop the image before printing to get an acceptable print. Now, just puch the button.

If anyone else is in the same boat and not sure which printer to get, I would recommend the i860 to anyone wanting a good photo printer along with good text. And for the price, that just sweetens the deal. I did look at the i960, and if it prints better than the i860, then that has to be an amazing machine and well beyond my photographic abilities anyways.

Thanks for all the help choosing this printer.
