Does anybody know if you can use the 420 EZ (not EX) on the Drebel?:?

You cannot use any EZ flash with any digital SLR and use any of the program modes. The flash will fire, but only in manual mode, meaning you have to know the guide number of the flash and calculate the correct F stop. Do ya feel like stepping back 30+ years in flash technology? That's what you're doing when you shoot like that. There's a reason all those EZ flash units are out there so cheap today.

Do yourself a favor and buy a Canon EX flash or some other third-party unit that's ETTL capable.
