It it possible to attach and use the lens fron a Canon XL2 digicam which is a 20x stabilazed lens to a Canon EOS 20D body

Does it require a special adaptor

Does such adaptor exist

From Canons marketing blurb
The XL mount system is compatible with all XL video lenses, and over 60 Canon EF lenses via an optional adapter.
It is possible to get an adapter to mount the EOS EF lenses to the video camera.
I have not yet seen an adapter to mount the XL lenses to the EOS body.

As with most frankenlenses I would expect things like Auto Focus and IS to quit working as the internal processing chips and languages are probably not compatable between the two designs.
